what's new at Citizens

Students and teachers using Toddle can now access Citizens directly from within their LMS, with no separate login required. Schools connect once via LTI 1.3, and from then on users launch Citizens from inside Toddle with automatic sign-in. Any actions logged via Toddle appear in the student's Citizens profile, and vice versa.

Schools can now formally recognise student progress through badges, certificates, and micro-credentials.These can be issued by teachers or automated at scale, helping schools celebrate achievement while keeping administration manageable.

We’ve introduced a Google Docs-style feedback experience. Teachers can leave comments directly on student actions, create comment threads, and resolve feedback collaboratively. Students are notified automatically, so nothing gets missed.

Actions can now be verified by teachers to add weight and credibility, without devaluing unverified work. Teachers can also add testimonials at both action and profile level to give richer, more meaningful endorsements.
